the extra gas?
At nearly 114 miles, Canebrake needs more than “nice private club” to earn the alarm clock. The championship card, 142 slope, Ron Garl design and current state-tournament use provide that extra reason. This looks like a full-strength North Alabama round, not a friendly member course where everybody shoots their handicap. The catch is access. Unless somebody has the invitation lined up, there is no trip to plan. If they do, take the drive and bring the part of your game that handles long holes and tough greens.
