CURRENT GOLFER SIGNAL
Atlanta golfer opinion on Chastain is… not subtle. The muni gets plenty of trash talk for slow rounds and inconsistent conditions. A June 2026 Atlanta thread joked that pros would have to survive a “12-hour round” there. That is obviously exaggeration, but pace frustration is part of the course's local reputation.
Late-2025 golfer discussion also referenced temporary holes/green work, so old condition opinions should be treated carefully.
