the extra gas?
This looks like the quieter kind of mountain golf. Instead of throwing the foursome up and down every cliff available, Cobb routed the course through the valley. That could make it a welcome change after a couple of rounds where every approach needs an elevation calculator and a prayer. At 107 miles, though, this is entirely access-dependent. We don't have enough current golfer evidence to promise perfect greens or a four-hour round. If a member invites the boys, the classic Cobb setting makes the drive interesting. Without that invitation, there is no public angle to manufacture.
