the extra gas?
Gatlinburg is the obvious “we're doing a Smokies weekend anyway” choice. The card is only 6,282 yards, but mountain golf has never cared what the scorecard says. Blind shots, elevation and a 231-yard par 3 are plenty capable of kicking the boys around without stretching past 7,000. Ninety-five bucks in season is not cheap municipal golf, but GPS carts, a strong review base and a course with actual personality give the price an argument. We would drive the extra miles as part of a Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg trip—not just to play 18 and immediately turn around.
