This is how a short course earns its own page. Eighteen par-3 holes, more than 3,600 yards from the back set and water on 11 holes means the boys are not showing up with one wedge and a putter. There should be enough club changes and enough trouble to settle a few bets properly. Would we drive nearly 89 miles for this course alone? Probably not unless the whole group loves par-3 golf. As the second round in a Hampton Cove day, though, it makes a ton of sense: faster, different and still real golf.
