The Creek is the straight-up public value play in this batch. Sixty-two bucks on a weekend, walking available, no houses jammed against every fairway and a state-park setting—that is a real reason to drive farther than usual. The course apparently opens with one of Georgia's meaner first holes, so the breakfast-ball negotiation should happen before anybody tees it up.

At 108 miles, this works best as a full state-park day or an overnight with another Georgia course. Still, the rate and golfer signal are good enough that it doesn't need a resort wrapper to justify itself.
