Three Ridges has the profile of a really good local public course that happens to be far enough away for us to call it EDGE. Seven thousand-plus yards, bentgrass greens and mountain views is a lot of course without resort branding or a private gate in the way. At nearly 108 miles, it needs either a good live rate or a Knoxville weekend around it. The review signal says the golf holds up. It just is not the place we would drive two hours toward without first knowing the price and course schedule.
