Wildcat Cliffs looks like a classic Highlands invitation: cool-air mountain golf, an old Cobb framework and a later renovation intended to keep the course relevant. At roughly 6,500 yards, it probably isn't trying to beat anybody with the odometer. The trees, elevation and green approaches are more likely to decide whether the Saturday card survives. Because the public golfer evidence is thin, we're keeping the recommendation where it belongs: interested, not breathless. If the invitation is real, take it. If it isn't, there is no public shortcut hiding behind a tee-time widget.
